Batman's home town is series of three islands nestled in the northern crook of Delaware Bay west of Cape May. It is right across the bay from Metropolis which resides in Delaware. Bludhaven exists where Tuckahoe-Corbin City Fish and Wildlife would be found in New Jersey.

GOTHAM CITY New Jersey
A Norwegian mercenary, Captain Jon Logerquist, founded Gotham City in 1635 and the British later took it over—a story that parallels the founding of New York by the Dutch (as New Amsterdam) and later takeover by the British. During the American Revolutionary War, Gotham City was the site of a major battle (paralleling the Battle of Brooklyn in the American Revolution). Alan Wayne (Bruce Wayne's ancestor), Theodore Cobblepot (Oswald Cobblepot's ancestor), and Edward Elliot (Thomas Elliot's ancestor), are considered the founding fathers of Gotham. In 1881 they constructed three bridges called the Gates of Gotham, each bearing one of their last names. Edward Elliot became increasingly jealous of the Wayne family’s popularity and wealth during this time period, a jealousy that would spread to his great-great grandson, Thomas Elliot or Hush. Some of these Founding Fathers are also involved in summoning a bat-demon which becomes trapped beneath old "Gotham Town", its dark influence spreading as Gotham City evolves; a being who has slept for 40,000 years beneath the land upon which Gotham City was built.
Gotham City is akin to "Manhattan below Fourteenth Street at eleven minutes past midnight on the coldest night in November." Stone gargoyles are commonly depicted on the buildings of Gotham City, such as the thirteen gargoyles on Wayne Tower. The person cited as an influential figure in promoting the unique architecture of Gotham City during the 19th century was Judge Solomon Wayne, Bruce Wayne's ancestor. His campaign to reform Gotham came to a head when he met a young architect named Cyrus Pinkney. Wayne commissioned Pinkney to design and to build the first "Gotham Style" structures in what became the center of the city's financial district. Later on in years a man obsessed with Pinkney's architecture blew up several Gotham buildings in order to reveal the Pinkney structures they had hidden; Alan Wayne then expanded upon his father's ideas and built a bridge to expand the city.
The city passed the "Sprang Act", which forbids Gothamite businesses from advertising on rooftops. It was passed after minor villain Humpty Dumpty over-wound the mainspring of the city hall clock, causing the hour hand to jump off and knock one of the billboards down, causing a chain reaction.
Gotham is the largest and most populated city in America, surpassing New York and Metropolis. Since the fold, the "Big Apple" has taken a back seat to the sprawling, multi-tiered marvel of architectural mayhem.

GENOSHA
Genosha, officially the Republic of Genosha, is a small crescent-shaped island located to the northeast of Madagascar, on the eastern coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. The island has two major cities, Carrion Cove to south and Hammer Bay, the capital city, to the north. The new Xavier Institute was built in Carrion Cove.
Genosha was uninhabited throughout most of recorded history. It was discovered by European in the 16th Century and later landed on by both the Dutch and the British East India Company. A transit point for trade between Africa and Asia, the island was occasionally used by pirates until the French began to took control. After a conflict with the French, the British controlled the islands in the 18th Century. It became a crown colony in the Early 20th Century, and an independent state in the 1960's after which it was discovered that the country thrived on using mutants as slaves.
The government tested their citizens, and any mutants were stripped of basic rights. Enter Magneto who has absolutely NO TOLERANCE for Fascism and Nazism. In short time he and the X-Men liberate the Island nation. The United Nations cedes to the powerful mutant Magneto after he demanded an entire mutants-only nation. Magneto, his Acolytes and Professor X defeat the remaining Magistrates and restore order to the island.
Now the imposing threat of President Luthor's re-instatment of the Sentinel Program lingers in their future. To Genosha, this a direct threat of War, but the tiny nation, mutants or not, could not possibly survive a war against the American military. Professor X is thus acting as an ambassador trying what to do what he ever he can to help end the threat of war.

STAR CITY California
Colonel Jeb Star founded the territory of Fort Plymouth in the year 1797. In the early half of the 19th century, Fort Plymouth grew into a prosperous trading community luring prospectors all the way from Canada to ply their trades. With the establishment of the continental railroad system in the 1860s, Fort Plymouth developed into a thriving cattle town with large ranches, slaughterhouses, and stockyards. 1897 was the year of the "Great Fire". It earned this appellation when a stockyard smokehouse was set ablaze, burning most of Fort Plymouth to the ground. Developers and architects rebuilt the city into a living symbol of modernism and named it after it's founding father, Jeb Star. In the modern era, Star City has become known as the base of operations of the Emerald Archer, Green Arrow.
Geographically the city REPLACES in the area known as Morro Bay State Park, making San Luis Obispo one of it's suburbs and placing Montaña de Ora State Park just to it's south.

WAKANDA
The Wakandan royal line began with Bashenga, an ancient Wakandan, supposedly the first king of unified Wakanda, and the first Black Panther some 10,000 years ago.
In the distant past, a massive meteorite made up of the sound-absorbing mineral vibranium crashed in Wakanda, and is unearthed a generation before the events of the present-day. T'Challa, the current Black Panther, is the son of T'Chaka, the Black Panther before him and a descendant of Bashenga. Knowing that others would attempt to manipulate and dominate Wakanda for this rare and valuable resource, T'Chaka conceals his country from the outside world. He sells off minute amounts of the valuable vibranium while surreptitiously sending the country's best scholars to study abroad, consequently turning Wakanda into one of the world's most technologically advanced nations.
Wakanda has an unusually high rate of mutation due to the dangerously mutagenic properties of the Vibranium Mound. A large number of these Wakandan Mutates are working for Erik Killmonger. Vibranium radiation has permeated much of Wakanda's flora and fauna, including the Heart-Shaped Herb eaten by members of the Black Panther Cult and the flesh of the White Gorilla eaten by the members of the White Gorilla Cult.
*All mutants are banned from Wakanda as stated by Black Panther.
Due to its isolation and intentional isolationism, Wakandan technology has, until recently, developed entirely independently of that of the rest of the world. As such, the design philosophies and methodologies are different, and often incompatible, with conventional equipment. Wakanda is the world's most technologically advanced country. For example, Wakandan computer technology is much more powerful than that of the rest of the world, and is completely immune to outside hacking, as it is not based on binary electronics; it can, however, emulate the behavior of such electronics at hugely enhanced efficiencies, allowing it to easily hack almost any conventional system. Vibranium was used liberally in Wakandan tech, but the recent destruction of all Vibranium has forced large-scale redesigns.

METROPOLIS Delaware
Metropolis is an ultra-modern city made up of six boroughs, the largest being New Troy. Each of the boroughs has its own distinct character and feel, which resemble and mimic New York City's boroughs.
New Troy New Troy is the largest borough in Metropolis. Resembling Manhattan, New Troy is a skyscraper island bustling with commerce and business. The concrete and steel canyons of the city rise to dizzying heights. "1930s architecture stretched like a rubber band" as cited in the Art of Superman Returns book.
The Daily Planet Building is the most recognizable landmark in the Metropolis skyline, much like the Empire State Building for New York City. Located in "Planet Square," it is particularly known for the Daily Planet globe atop the building. Other prominent skyscrapers include the Emperor Building (a reference to the Empire State Building), the Newstime Building (home of the national Newstime magazine, a reference to and combination of Newsweek and Time) which is secretly owned for several years by Lord Satanus posing as "Colin Thornton," and the Twin Towered LexCorp Tower, (a reference to the former twin towers of the World Trade Center), headquarters for Lex Luthor's company.
Famous streets in New Troy include Fifth Avenue, Bessolo Boulevard, and Topaz Lane. The latter two are Metropolis' versions of Broadway in New York City. Other Metropolis boulevards in the New Troy borough are named Coates, Larson, and Collyer.
Chinatown Metropolis' Culturally Asian District.
Little Bohemia The arts capital of Metropolis.
Glenmorgan Square An area very similar to New York's Times Square. Clark Kent and Lois Lane lived in an apartment in New Troy, at 1938 Sullivan Lane, which is a tribute to the year Superman first appeared. (Clark Kent's traditional address of 344 Clinton Street, Apartment 3D, was usually described as being located in midtown Metropolis)
Centennial Park Centennial Park (sometimes labeled as Metropolis Park) is Metropolis' largest city park and is based on real life Central Park of New York City. Its most noteworthy feature is a statue of Superman with an American bald eagle erected after his apparent death fighting Doomsday.
Midvale Midvale is a suburb of Metropolis.
Bakerline Bakerline is another borough of Metropolis. Located north of New Troy, Bakerline is the home of newspaper reporter Jimmy Olsen, similar to The Bronx in New York City.
Other boroughs and suburban areas include: Queensland Park (a reference to Queens) Hell's Gate (a reference to Hell Gate Bridge) St. Martin's Island (a reference to Staten Island) Park Ridge (a reference to Park Slope) Metrodale Highville
Metropolis Police Department The Metropolis Police Department headed by Commissioner David Corporon possesses a Special Crimes Unit dedicated to defending the city against superhuman menaces. The unit is headed by Maggie Sawyer and Dan Turpin. Another of Superman's police contacts over the years has been Inspector William Henderson.
Stryker's Island Penitentiary (based on New York's Riker's Island) is the name of Metropolis' largest prison facility, as well as the name of the island on which it sits; it is located in Metropolis' West River south of New Troy.
